XP: Is anyone getting the B&N nook?
I was watching one of DH's techie shows with him last night and they did a run-down of various e-books. I had zero interest in these things until they described the nook and now I have to have one. 
DH usually advises to wait for the second generation of anything so that the kinks are worked out, but I'm champing at the bit on this one.

I actually want to see one in their stores before buying one.
They won't be available in time for the holidays, B&N slipped the ship date back to 11 Jan, FYI.
They underestimated demand and only the early pre-orders will have it by Christmas. The 11 Jan date (I think) is when you'll actually be able to play with one in a Barnes & Noble store.
