I'm trying to figure out where to have Rylie's party this year. I DO NOT want to have it at my house again. It is too close to Christmas and just too hectic.
The kid LOVES Chuck E Cheese. Every time we go she says "Chuck E Cheese is awesome!" when we leave. So that was my first thought. However, at that place the parents will pretty much have to follow the kids around since most of her friends are around the same age. That's the only downfall.
I also thought about Amaya Papaya, but honestly it is pretty expensive for what it is.
Gymboree is out because one of her friends is having her party there shortly after Rylie's.
So I'm looking for more suggestions. I'm sure there are some places out there I'm just not thinking about.
TIA!
Re: Need location recs for Rylie's party.
I'm not 100% sure, but is Rylie going to be 2??
Ok, here are just some ideas....
Kindermusik- http://www.growandsing.com/birthday_party_orlando.php
My Gym- http://www.my-gym.com/parties.aspx
Many parks have nice pavillions that are near a playground....
Orlando JCC- http://www.orlandojcc.org/?page=birthdayparties
Monkey Joes
That's all I have for now!!
Depending on the weather I have heard great things about Green Meadows Petting Farm
http://www.greenmeadowsfarm.com/index.html
They have areas for picnics etc.
I like the Green Meadows Petting Farm idea!
good luck planning!
Thanks for the suggestions ladies!!! I think I have it figured out!!! I'm just waiting for my husband to approve.
I did like the petting farm suggestion, but it is in January so there is no telling how the weather will be. Also, something about touching animals and eating cake doesn't sit too well with me. LOL But I will definitely take Rylie there sometime. She loves animals and would probably touch anything...of course her dad would have to go too since I am not into touching various creatures...
I agree with eating around the farm animals...haha : ) Plus I've been and since it IS a farm it's not all that clean and the little ones are only between the ages of 1-2 right? Plus it's not a contained area so kids would be everywhere! I think when she's older it would be great but I personally wouldn't do it for 2. (We went when I taught K...five year olds were perfect!)
If you are not doing it at your house (which is what we will do at 2) I would go with gymboree or a monkey joes type thing! : )
