need surveillance suggestions
So I have a few animals, and they've somehow become un housetrained. I need to set up some surveillance to find out who's doing it. I also need to know just in case it's a medical condition with one of them. i have a webcam on my laptop, but I don't think it woudl keep recording. Anyone know of a good way to handle this situation? in a gadget way of course
Re: need surveillance suggestions
I've never successfully gotten a webcam to "surveil" for me. I'm sure it's possible, I just don't know how. I have run across a few cool-looking products lately, though. They're all pricey, but I wanted to share them anyways because they're really neat!
Vue Personal Video Network (http://www.geekbrief.tv/gbtv-636-vue-personal-video-network). $300 for the initial kit (receiver and two cameras); additional cameras are $99.
The SRV-1 Blackfin Mobile Survellience Robot from ThinkGeek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/rc/8698/). At almost $500, it's almost definitely out of any sane person's price range, but it's really cool!
Rovio WiFi Roaming Bot, also from ThinkGeek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/c7b4/). This one's "only" $230.
The downside to these robotic ones is that your pets will know they're coming!
i actually got these 2 suggestions from a company online. I also found a Panasonic one on amazon, at about $170 for the corded edition.
