Ipod touch vs Internet on phone
Does anyone have the ipod touch or iphone? I want one. Mainly to have all the apps and internet available at all times.
I was also thinking about forgetting the ipod touch and getting the Droid cause I use Verizon and dont want to switch to AT&T.
What do you all use or like better? Does anyone have to IPod touch and is it worth it?
Thanks!
Re: Ipod touch vs Internet on phone
I have the touch and for the most part love it.
The only annoying part is that I don't have internet if there isn't a unlocked wireless network around. I have one at home that I'm connected to. Usually I am able to find one while out and about, but I've been SOL with it before. I just don't count on being able to access the internet. The apps are really nice to have, especially all the games for when I get bored.
My friend just got the droid and loves it so far. I'd def check it out.
The iPod Touch will only access the internet via WiFi, so unless you're constantly surround by a WiFi network you can access, the iPhone is the route you'd need to take.
I can't speak for the Droid as I've not had my hands on one yet, but I've heard good things.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
How is it when you are driving in a car? Does it pick up WiFi usually? Lets say you are a passenger cause we dont want any accidents! ; )
Is the iphone different cause it uses the phone as internet and not WiFi?
Thanks Ladies!
I've got an iPhone and yes, if I'm not in range of an unlocked wireless signal is uses the network to access the internet.
You need a data plan for that option.

I really want the iphone but will most likely not switch plans so I guess its between the Driod and pay $30 extra a month for internet all the time. Or the Ipod Touch and get WiFi when its available. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the apps on both? If I ask the store they will try to sell me thiers.
