Woo hoo! So as some of you are aware, Johanna is able to make some cookie dough ahead of time thanks to her awesome connections at her school. She'll be making gingerbread, sugar and linzer cookie dough on Friday and bringing it on Sat. So for those cookies, we'll just need to bring some cookie cutouts and things to decorate them with. I haven't found meringue powder (for the royal icing), yet, but I can continue looking.
We'll also have stand up mixers to make other batches of dough, etc. I will have sandwiches, veggies and drinks. Claire will bring an amazing homemade gumbo. Oh, does anyone have food allergies (shellfish, mushrooms or cheese)?
Come celebrate the holiday season with some Nesties this Saturday, Dec 5th around 1pm in Delray. For any questions, please email me at vgraeberlin at hotmail dot com.

Super excited to finally be able to share my gumbo with ya'll. I'm teaching my neighbor how to cook it on Friday night so we'll write down the recipe. I'll bring extra copies for ya'll to add to your recipe box. Although my secret ingredient can only be purchased in Louisiana.
I'm allergic to sodium nitrates, so no cheese or red wine for me. But don't worry about me. There will be plenty of food to eat.
