I've lost 3 pounds.
I'm almost done my Christmas Shopping, just need a few odds and ends.
I'm finally starting to save money again, and it feels great! (after all the wedding debt).
My husband is sexy, and treats me like a princess

It feel great to be working again and actually making a decent amount of money (especially compared to my last job)! I feel like I am contributing to the marriage (as well as bank account) more.
I finally bought DH some Christmas gifts. He has to be the hardest person to shop for.
I feel like this new job has made me be a better person. I stand up for myself and don't take lip from no one.

Congrats everyone!
Jerk Face (my committee member who doesn't read anything or give feedback until after the last minute and then tells me to change everything) read the paper I sent him yesterday within 24 hours and sent comments! It's shocking.
Then, I made 2 phonecalls to the university that were actually productive and useful and people were able to provide answers (this never happens). And I confirmed that I didn't need to renew my student visa (which is good, 'cause I didn't and it expired in July).
Also, last night C gave me a card telling me to keep up the good work and knows I can do it and he gave me a 2 pound bag of Twizzlers! (The Twizzlers have a backstory.) I've been asking so much of him for the past 5 weeks and it's not going to stop for a few more weeks, it's nice to know that he's so supportive and sweet.
It's such a good day that I'm thinking of buying a lottery ticket!
October 2013 February Siggy Challenge: Valentine's Day Fail
EDD 10/3/13
A. My two best friends/business partners are in NYC for the week. We are tri-coastal bffs (London, NYC & LA) and we haven't been in the same place since my wedding!
B. The prototype for our shoe company will be completed by spring and (fingers crossed!) in distribution by fall/winter 2010.
C. Tomorrow night we are getting dolled up and walking the red carpet at the film premiere of Serious Moonlight (one of their boyfriends produced it) and buying a rather large, rather nice bottle of champagne to celebrate our shoes. Wahoo!!!
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.
