* Names of the newlyweds: Chrissy and Mike
* When and where they tied the knot: June 26, 2009, San Diego, CA
* Next place for a vacation? Washington in a few weeks
* Favorite part of the big day: Receiving my gift from him on the morning of our wedding. He got me a beautiful new diamond Citizen watch, but the best part was the delivery.
Backstory: on our first date, I worked in the office of the building where he went to school. I was very close friends with all of his classmates (it was a Navy school) as well as the instructors. Apparently that day his entire class had a discussion about our first date that night and one of his instructors called the office where I worked to get me out of the office for a few. While I was out, he came in and left a present for me on my desk: a six-foot tall Frankenstein balloon (we started dating in October, near Halloween) with a box of Ho-Ho's tied to it (I had an unnatural affinity for Ho-Hos) and a sweet note about how he was excited he was for our date.
On our wedding day, he gave me my gift tied to the largest balloon he could find and included a box of Ho-Hos and very sweet card. It was very sweet! Our first date was 7 years before, so I was astonished that he'd remembered that.

childhood memory?
What is your favorite movie? It's a tie between Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the old one) and Pretty Woman
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I really love San Diego, but I miss the south too. If some place exists that's the perfect blend of the two, that also has fall, that also has an affordable housing market, that'd be ideal.
Do you have any tattoos? Yes, I have 4 of them: tribal looking tramp stamp with a heart in it, shooting star on my right shoulder, ladybuh on my left ankle, and cherries on my abdomen. They're all incredibly stupid and I wish I didn't have any of them. Ah, the decisions we make at 18!
Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Team Robert or Team Taylor?

way to spend a saturday? This is a hard one. I'm pretty content doing just about anything, as long as I feel like I'm doing something and am surrounded by good company (preferably my husband, but he's rarely free).
store to shop at? Favorite: probably Nordstrom because I can get anything and everything there. Most frequented: probably Express. I buy more work clothes than anything, and they have good staples for the right price point. Ooh, also Lululemon. I absolutely love everything in the store and, if it weren't for the prices, I'd shop there more often
childhood memory? I had a horrible childhood, honestly. I'm sitting here trying to think of something that stands out, and really nothing does. Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a Debbie Downer here, but I can't come up with anything! Can I trade this question for a different one?
I think you already know the answers to these, but I'll humor you
Team Edward or Team Jacob? Team Edward
Team Robert or Team Taylor? Team Taylor
Wanna get together and go see New Moon again? I'd love to!
Favorite food and drink? Pizza and good coffee, but not together
One place you would recommend people see if they visit where you live? Balboa Park and/or La Jolla
Music you listen to when working out (I need some new music for this purpose, hopefully you can help)? I have no preference, actually! I can work out to death metal and I can work out to country ballads. Just something that I can listen to to get my mind off the pain.
What character from history would you like to have over for dinner?
What bad habit would you like to quit?
What do you wear when you want to look fabulous?

What character from history would you like to have over for dinner? Sojourner Truth or Anne Frank. I've always been intrigued by racial/religious persecution and I think it would be very interesting to ask either of these women a few questions of what their lives were like.
What bad habit would you like to quit? I often go to bed without washing my makeup off. I'm just too lazy most nights.
What do you wear when you want to look fabulous? I think of myself as a pretty casual girl, so fabulous for me is quite a bit different than some. If I want to look fabulous for just a regular day, that includes: skinny jeans, great boots, and some sort of top that I feel great in. If I want to look fabulous on a date night, that includes: perfectly fitting LBD and a great pair of pumps. If I want to look fabulous for the gym or some other fitness event, I usually wear Lululemon top-to-bottom with a fun (clean) pair of sneaks, usually my pink and white Pumas.
Do you consider yourself outgoing?
What's your favorite food to make?
What was your most embarrassing moment?
What's the nicest compliment you've ever received?
Do you consider yourself outgoing? Yes, very.
What's your favorite food to make? Probably my brownies. They're a lot of fun to make and everyone ooohhs and aaahhs over them way more than anything else -- which makes them even more fun.
What was your most embarrassing moment? Oh, I've had several that are probably equally embarrassing. How about the first Christmas that Mike and I spent together. We exchanged our gifts, a couple of which were bedroom related (from him to me), and when we went to use those gifts, his phone accidentally pocket- dialed his mother as his pants hit the floor! She heard everything and she hadn't even met me yet. It wouldn't have been so bad (because I hadn't realized what'd happened), except when we did meet she teasingly brought up a pet name that I'd called him that night. I was mortified. Seriously, who does that? ...and how long did she listen??!
What's the nicest compliment you've ever received? Hmm, well recently I was told I'm the best person that my company has ever had in my particular position. That makes a girl feel good!
