Bored & Venting

Just wanted to write a post on here. I'm new to the nest and just moved to South Carolina in July to be with my fiance, now husband. We just got married in November and now were looking for a place of our own. I am also still looking for a job and have been since July. It's driving me nuts not working!! LOL.  I never thought I would say that but it is so boring at home.

I'm sorry it's taking you a while to find a job.  Have you tried signing up with some temp agencies?  Sometimes those jobs can turn to full-time jobs.

What part of the state are you in, and what for what type of work are you looking?

I have signed on with a temp agency but haven't gotten anything yet with them. I'm near the Florence area and looking for Admin or customer service work.

I've been here since September and have had no luck either...but luckily I was laid off before we moved here so unemployment checks have been a godsend. If you lived closer I'd say we should hang out!

DH grandparents live in Florence (well, his grandfather did until he died last year).  Have you tried McLeod Health System?  I think they are the biggest employer in Florence and may have something.  There is also Francis Marion University.  Welcome to SC and good luck!
