GMAT
Has anyone taken the GMAT? DH has to take it... it looks hard and like he is going to have to study a ridiculous amount.

I took it last summer and met my target score. I didn't take a course, though I've heard a lot of people say they are worth it.
The best advice I have is to take lots of full length practice tests on the computer. It was difficult to adjust to taking the test on a computer screen. Good luck to you both!
A friend of mine has taken it 3 times recently and said it was ridiculously difficult- he studied a lot, and I consider him really smart so I'm not sure what to think. The only reason he kept re-taking it is in an attempt to get a score high enough for a really competitive PhD program.
I took mine a few years ago but I don't even remember my scores, or how hard it was,etc. That period in my life was a blur though.
