Blackberry Curve vs. Motorola Droid

Just wondering if any other BB addicts switched to the Droid.  I'm seriously considering it and am just looking for feedback :)  I'm a little scared to make the switch because I become very brand loyal to cell phones and I'm on a blackberry kick, but I think it's time that I get a more advanced phone.

Re: Blackberry Curve vs. Motorola Droid

  • well speaking strictly from the standpoint that I too am a crackberry addict (with Sprint), when I renew I plan on going Droid with Sprint.  I love, love, love my blackberry curve, but I really don't think RIM is coming out with any new cutting edge blackberry anytime soon, unless they come up with a storm that has a slide out qwerty keyboard...then maybe I'd consider, but my loyalty died when some cool phones started coming on the market and I was still stuck with either the pearl, curve, or tour.
  • Thank you!

  • if you have verizon you can always try out the droid and you have 30 days to take it back if you change your mind.

  • I LOVED my BB and don't miss it at all. The Droid is very user friendly and all around fun to use. You won't need 30 days to decide you love the Droid :)

  • I had the Blackberry Curve 8310 and now I have the Curve 8900. I love my BB and wouldn't switch, but that is just me. I do have a friend who had the Pearl and then the Storm and switched to the Droid and he loves it. It all comes down to personal preferences.
