H is returning his PS3

He just got it 2ish weeks ago.  He says he's playing it too much.  He's called in sick 2x to be able to stay home and play it.  He's been going to bed past 2 or 3am bc he's up playing it.

Well, at least he recognized he had a problem.

I don't think there's any hobby I have that I would get up EARLY for. Getting up to work out is hard enough.

OMG!  He just texted me saying that he can't return it because that means he would have wasted money on the games he bought since he can't return those.

I don't get hobbies/ obessions like that. Ask him if the money is worth all that time wasted. At least he attempted to return it.

Tell him he can always sell those games on half.com or take them to a Gamestop.

This is why I was terrified to get MH the wii. Luckily he hardly ever plays it.

He just watches TV like it is the only thing to do on earth. I swear, the sound of the TV gives me the hives.

We have an XBox and a Wii, and H barely plays those. He prefers strategy games, but I'm usually online when he plays those, so it all works out. Me, I don't want to do no thinking in my leisure time.

He can sell his games to GameStop. It will be less than he bought them for but he will probably lose less than he would taking more time off work.

My DH has a PS2.  He goes through phases playing it.  He got an old school game that had asteroids on it.  He would spend about two hours every day doing for about a week.  It's been sitting on the floor unused for about 3 months now.  Let's hope that is what your DH will do. 

I bought a Wii in August and he has only played with me twice.

H goes through phases with his PS3. If theres a new game he wants to play he can spend 2-3 hrs playing it after work but ive never seen him get up early!

I used to be like your H when I got my first Playstation, except the getting up early part.  I'd rather stay up until 4 in the morning than get up early. 

I won't buy any PS2 games anymore because of this.  But oh man do I want a PS3.  I'm kinda glad we're broke so I can't buy it.

I figure I can play Wii as much as I want, though.  At least then, I get exercise.
