Could use holiday gift suggestions
DH and I are going to a Christmas party on Saturday. It's DH's friend's mom who is having the party and I really don't know her all that well. I feel like we should bring a gift, but not knowing her well, I don't know what to bring. A nice bottle of wine would be my go-to gift, but I don't think she's much of a drinker. I asked DH for suggestions, but he was no help. Does anyone here have any generic gift suggestions for someone who doesn't really drink? Maybe a nice Christmas ornament (not that I really know her style at all)? Or a box of nice chocolates? Should I even bother to bring anything? Clearly we don't get invited to many holiday parties
