Blurb Photobooks?

Has anyone used Blurb to make an album/photobook?  How did you like it?  I used shutterfly for some others, but I'm curious about Blurb.  Thanks!

Re: Blurb Photobooks?

  • I love Blurb and you can't beat their prices!

    Pros:

    • You can adjust any of their gazillion layouts.
    • This time of year, they have tons of promotions - 20% off, free shipping, etc - so you can save a lot of money.
    • Unlike other companies, they'll allow you to add as many pages as you'd like and it doesn't cost you an arm or a leg. My professional album limits me to 20 pages, to add a 2-page spread is $25.

    Cons:

    • You'll be limited to either a soft cover, dust cover or image wrap (no leather or fancy binding).
I've had a shutterfly album and it was fine for a vacation album, but I've really enjoyed my bridal album and the wedding albums I've created. They're running a promotion right now so I'd definitely take advantage of it.

  • I've used them many times and I love them. The only downside is how thin their paper is - I've been looking into maybe using MP instead of our wedding album. Other then that, their quality is awesome.

  • Oh with Blurb, I always use premium paper.
