Restaurant review and AW

Tonight DH and I went out to dinner for the first time in over 6 months. We are celebrating his first paycheck from his new job, my finishing my first semester as teacher and my teaching hours getting doubled. We chose Andrea's Steakhouse in Chesterfield for our celebration mostly due to having  restaurant.com gift certificate.

DH was happy with his prim rib medium and steak fries.

My steak was a bit overcooked- I ordered medium and it came out half medium and half medium-well done. Still good though. There baked potato was nothing overly special (though it did come wrapped in brown paper).

We were served 4 rolls with our soup/salad. Again, nothing overly special.

Nice atmosphere and defiantly a higher end place to dine.

Re: Restaurant review and AW

  • We haven't gone to the one in Chesterfield but used to eat at the one in Edwardsville at least 2-3 times/year. My parents even got take-out from there for their anniversaries (lazy people didn't want to go out!) and it was always delicious. We've talked about going to the new one but have only gone out for one nice dinner since having Jay, and that was for our anniversary in June - we went to Al's downtown and spent waaaaay too much money but had a fabulous time. Congrats on all of your celebration reasons!
  • Would you go there again if you didn't have the coupon ?

No. Not when we could go to Outback or Longhorn and get pretty much the same food and more variety for less.

  • I recommend Tony's on Main in St. Charles for a nice evening out.  Awesome filet covered in steak butter.... mmmmm... drool..... served with salad and side for $20-$25 and sometimes coupons available online.
