I am looking for gift ideas that are $75 or under for my fiance's sister's fiance (if that makes any sense at all.) All we know about him is that he is a lawyer. Does anyone know what to get a lawyer for Christmas? The only ideas I was able to garner from other sources were gift cards from Barnes and Noble and Books - A - Million.
Thanks in advance ladies!
Re: Gift Ideas for a lawyer?
This. Seriously, I can't think of a single "legal oriented gift" DH or I would want for the holidays. Go with "generic male gift" if you don't know him well - like slippers, a wallet, starbucks cards, alcohol....or your FI could ask his sister for a little more information about this guy she's marrying other than his profession. Wouldn't you want his family to do that for you?
Ditto. ?I'd assume he already got the briefcase/nice pen/other lawyerly gifts at law school graduation. ?Try to find out more about his out-of-work interests, or just give him whatever you'd give any male acquaintance.
lolol
I'm a lawyer. I like
- clothes
- wine
- movies
- books
- Starbucks
- etc etc etc.
I do not like:
- office supplies/stuff for my desk
- anything that bears my name followed by the title "esq."
- reading about the law in my spare time.
hth!
All of the lawyers I know would appreciate a Starbucks gift card. Most of the lawyers I know would appreciate a nice bottle of red wine.
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
