DLSR ?

Anyone have reviews on Pentax.  I'm debating between Pentax K-x and Nikon D5000 for DH.

Re: DLSR ?

  • I personally am a Nikon fan, I think they have a lot of great options in lenses (later on) and the quality is amazing.  But there are a lot of good review websites out there for the different brands of DSLR's so I would check one of those out for sure.  Hope this helps!
  • I have a Nikon D90 and have had a Canon Rebel in the past.  I'm a huge fan of Nikon for DSLRs and Canon for point and shoots.  Both are top of the line when it comes to DSLRs, though.  Go for a Nikon or a Canon if you want a high quality DSLR.  I'd avoid Pentax.  I have a friend that shoots with Pentax and straight out of the camera (and even after post processing) her image quality doesn't come close to comparing to a Canon or Nikon image.
  • Not sure about Pentax, but I have a Nikon D5000 and I absolutely love mine.  I am a big fan of Nikon's but loved my old Canon T50.  I definitely recommend the D5000.

  • I am a fan of Nikon all around and i have a nikon dslr and love it. I have seen a few images taken with Pentax and in my opinion it cant compare to a Nikon.
