Recs Near Petco Stadium
Hi Ladies.
We are travelling in a couple of weeks to San Clemente and will be coming down to Petco for a game. Any recs on good bars or restaurants around Petco? Any shopping recs for San Diego in general? Any must dos? There will be a group of us with our husbands.

Petco is downtown in our "Gaslamp District" which is full of hotels, bars, restaraunts etc. You cant really go wrong with dining options down here. Some hotels right near the stadium are the Omni, Gaslamp Marriott, Hard Rock and Hotel Solimar however there are a ton in the area. All are very nice but it is a pricier part of town to stay in. (Don't know what your budget is.)
I live about a mile from this area and I love it. Have fun!

Basic is a great place for pizza and beers before the game...check out the Tilted Kilt too...RIGHT next to the stadium! Very fun.
