Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Delta Airlines Miles - making our Christmas...
Hi! I usually post on the Entertaining Ideas board... but had to share this.
The other day I got a card in the mail re: exchanging my airline miles for lame magazines. (They were about to expire) - I noticed that there were also gift cards available online at Delta and was able to purchase miles (15.00 worth) to get a 50.00 Macy's gift card. Which I've already spent on gifts...
My husband had over 30,000 miles which were about to expire and he ordered (and received) 300.00 worth of cards (Red Lobster, Flemings and Macys). He also transferred miles fron North West and is expecting another 100.00 worth of cards to Macy's soon.
We have two babies (ages 2 and 1) and won't be traveling in the next year - so this made sense for our situation.
I hope this reminds someone else take advantage of their unused Delta/Northwest miles....
