critique my cocktail party menu please!

 am having a cocktail party for about 20 people on Friday evening.  What do you think of this menu?

 

Stuffed Mushrooms

Cheese Straws

Carmelized onion dip with crudite and chips

Tomato and Mozzarella Crostini

Peppered Filet Crostini with horseradish and with caramelized onions

Spinach dip with tortilla chips

Potato skins

Pumpkin rolls

Assorted cheese and meats

Red velvet truffles

Pumpkin roll

Cookies
Any additions/subtractions/suggestions?  TIA

I actually think it would. She has a lot of dips and chips, but only a tray off cold meats (and cheese. I'd be hungry without more protein, but I also don't know what her meat tray consists of or how many options it will have. A small crock pot of sweedish meatballs is hardly a travisty.

I think that meatballs aren't on the same level as the filet crostini, for example.  Her menu is fairly posh, so I think that meatballs would throw it off. 

However, I do agree that maybe another protein would be good.  She posted this on the WC board, as well, and someone over there suggested chicken satays.  In thinking along those lines, a lemon and saffron chicken skewer would be great.

I see what you say with the crostinis. I was focusing on the chips, which seem more casual to me. Chicken satays would be another good options and can look really nice in presentation.

It sounds divine.  I only think you need another protein if this is meal time.  Otherwise, it's absolutely perfect.  Enjoy your party

I was thinking chicken satays before I even read the responses.  I'd skip the tortilla chips and spinach dip- or serve the spinach dip along side the onion dip.
