Anyone planning to watch?
Re: BCS selection show
The Cincy - Florida match-up should be a good one. But...
WVU - Florida State on New Year's Day. What a match-up! I am so excited for bowl season.
I'll be seeing all you Husker fans in the Holiday Bowl! Go Cats! If our schedule works out correctly we should make it to the game...hopefully we can change our flights for Christmas and it won't be too expensive.
Looks like there should be some great bowl games this year. Looking forward to bowl week.
We are watching...well, we are watching the one on ESPN. Until Saban came on, then we had to change the channel.
I'm excited to go to the Outback Bowl but I kinda wish we were playing someone other than Northwestern (no offense to any Wildcats).
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
I would've been watching if we weren't watching movies at my house...beh.
I saw earlier that Oklahoma State accepted a bid to the Cotton Bowl, and Texas is going to the BCS championship...so our household is good.
I have to say if I were a Boise State or TCU fan I would be pissed off right now. They don't even get a chance to "prove" themselves against a major team this year. It is like the selection committee just assigned them so they can go play in the corner and not upset any of the big teams.
I am so for a play off system even more this year than most years.
isn't this the truth...actually the word in our house was whatbullshit...it was like they just didn't even want them in the mix so they tossed them together, seriously this was the biggest blatant slap in the face I could possibly have thought of. I am still mad about it this morning and I'm not even a fan of either.
ETA: what would the BSC (aka BCS) have done if Cincy would have lost to Pitt, have a tri-team scrimmage with TCU/Cincy/Boise in Nick Saban's backyard?
You never know. The question is, can our defense regroup and stop y'all.
I agree. Both teams (TCU, especially) got hosed.
DH was not pleased. Perhaps the other teams are scared to play TCU and Boise. Wait, we know they are because they won't even put them on their schedule. Wimps!
I agree. That's a crappy move right there.
