Dh and I both have laptops with webcams and he travels for work a fair amount and we'd like to do video chats since we have a little guy now...is there a specific way to do this?  Does it cost money?  Any help for a video chat novice would be great!!

I use Google to talk with a friend over seas but I have also just started using skype to talk to family in CA.

As well as Google video and Skype, if you have any instant messenger program you'll be able to video chat. AIM, MSN, Yahoo, they all include a video and talk feature.

I recommend Skype. I use it to keep in contact with my family back in Australia and have never had a problem with it.

I've used Skype & Windows Live Messenger and they are both very easy to set up.

I'd definitely reccommend skype as well. I had tried almost everything else, and skype was by far the best (and free).
