Naperville/West Suburbs nesties
Hi there, my name is Amy and my husband and I recently moved to Naperville and while we love our home and the area in general, we are finding it a little difficult to meet other couples our age. I was wondering if anyone was from the area and could offer up some advice/ideas. I appreciate it. Thanks!

I don't live in that area but a few of us nesties are meeting up in the city this Friday at 6pm. After this get together, I'm going to see who wants to gtg as couples after the holidays.
And it's not so easy to find couples in the city either!
I live in Bloomingdale! I hear you on the getting-to-know other couples in the area - it's tough! All of our friends our age are pretty much living the single life so while we enjoy their company, we just can't (or don't want to) keep up sometimes! And while I really enjoy going into the city for all the city nesties we have on here, it's not always easy or possible to manage.
If you're interested, I'd love to meet up for lunch or something one weekend. I'm always up for meeting new people. The hubs has to work every Saturday & Sunday through the end of December so I could use an excuse to get out of my normal schedule

Hey, my husband and I aren't new to the Chicagoland area (we both grew up in the NW burbs) but we moved to Glen Ellyn about a year ago. Most our friends live in the city which, frankly, is a huge PITA now!

Anyone else a fan of BD's Mongolian BBQ in Naperville? I've been looking for an excuse to go out to Naperville to go...LOL
Yay! Well things get kind of crazy for me over the next few weeks but I could either do this weekend, the 19th, 20th, or then Jan 16th & 17th and any weekend thereafter.
I could probably do the Fridays of those weekends and any weekend after too, just couldn't get out there until later since I work in Hoffman Estates.
What works for you guys?
