Hey Ladies,
Thank you for your love, support, thoughts and prayers. I used them all up during labor.
I was frightened when my water broke because we were having a great time, I knew I was already exhausted and I knew we would have Benjamin here in less than
24 hours. But with Andie's help and coaching we were able to labor at home until 3:30am. Got to the hospital at 4:15 and only 3cm/90% effaced and baby was born at 7:45 with just 30 mins of pushing. By an act of God I was able to go med-free the entire time, although most of the
time I was yelling "Please, help me!" to
DH. I'm not sure I could do it again, but I'll post all the details when we get settled at home.
Benjamin is perfect and super handsome if I can say. DH has been super involved and changed baby's first diaper and is helping me with BFing positions. We are going to catch some zzzs tonight and will update later.
Thanks again for all your support, I really did need it. Love you gals so much. And Claire, Andie and I scarfed down your gumbo a bit before we went into the hospital.
And thanks to all the gals who left our kitchen spotless and left me some delicious cookies. I had a great time and am
so thankful to Johanna and all of you for coming.
I can't seem to post a photo here, but I did upload one to FB. TTYL.
