Ok.  Let's bring back the daily question one more time and see if we can make this happen.

What is the most hard-to-find item on your Christmas shopping list this year?

 

I'm having a devil of a time finding loose cigarette tobacco for my dad.  We're in the Carolinas, how can it be this hard???

Hmmm. I didn't get many Christmas lists this year. Everyone I ask says, whatever is fine bc I don't know what I want. So finding gifts in general is a pain -- I'm sadly resorting to gift cards for many of them.

I guess my older sister's gift is the hardest bc she wants a Neiman Marcus gift card (bc we have one here and they don't up there so she can shop online with it). I have to go to Charlotte to get one, so it's a bit of a pain.

Everyone is getting a gift card this year. With the whole paying to check in your bags at the airport, it seems silly to bring an extra suitcase filled with gifts. And I'm also in the same boat as PP...no one will tell us what they want.

H recommended buying online as well and I shot him down. but of course it sounds like a better idea coming from a woman haha. I'll have to check it out later. I like the idea of an online certifiicate . I don't like buying gift cards and sending them in cards. I'm always scared it'll get stolen.

An Atlanta Thrasher's shirt in a 3XLT for my husband.  My only option is to have one custom made on the NHL website, for nearly $40 (for just a t-shirt).  3XL shirts aren't too hard to find, but its that tall that makes it hard.

I haven't had any hard-to-find items, but my husband's brother and his wife are going to be hard to shop for this year.  They haven't given us any ideas!

I'm boring/lazy.   My dad and youngest sister are getting giftcards.  My niece and nephew are getting whatever I get them.  My sister gave me a list, I just have to go shopping.  My mom is getting a shutterfly calendar of pictures of Nicholas.  DH is getting something Yankees World Series.

My problem is I am just not in the mood to look for gifts this year. I usually have so much fun thinking of a gift to give but lately I feel like it is a chore. I am chalking it up to being pregnant. Thankfully our family is almost done just have some close friends to shop for now.

I think they just changed the law on this, and I believe it's more expensive to buy loose tobacco.  Therefore, it is harder to find it since retailers are pulling it from shelves.
