yep, he has yet to take a nap this morning and has pretty much been up since 5:30am...I fed him then, put him back down and he was fussing for the longest time in his bassinet...he may have dozed off for a bit because he got quiet then at 7:00am he started fussing again - Tom got up and got him and he had almost had a blowout...then by 8am he was yawning so I tried putting him down and he got quiet for about 15 minutes and started crying again....so I fed him again and put him down and he was quiet for 15 minutes again....so I got him up and changed his diaper and he is Mr. Fussypants and is now sitting contently in his travel swing while I Nest....he just wants to see what is going on!
So yesterday, I went to give Austin his bath...I filled up his tub in our tub and picked him up while I was kneeling, to place him in his tub....I lost my balance with his shift in weight and it was either a) drop him or b) practically break my elbow on the side of the tub so I don't drop him....so I slammed my elbow on the side of the tub and in doing so, since I was kneeling, I think I must have twisted my knee, because I can barely bend my left knee going down the stairs and can feel it popping - NOT fun while trying to carry Austin down the stairs
Re: Austin is on a napping strike and I hurt my knee
Mason does the catnap thing too every once in awhile...it's a little frustrating, but I can't really MAKE him sleep!! LOL!!
Sorry about your knee...I hope it will get better soon!
Lisa sorry about your knee! That is one reason I still put Owen's tub across the kitchen sink. The other reason is that we don't even have a tub right now.
Do you think you need to get that knee checked out?
Maybe Austin will take a great afternoon nap! Good luck!

aaawww, Lis. What a sucky day! Did he ever get down for a nap today? If not I hope he went down easy tonight!!
You poor thing about your knee! I always worry about that. My back is still soooo sore since giving birth and when I pic him up from drying him off I always worry about something in my back giving and me toppling over with him. If so I think like you it would always be a self sacrifice first.
Take some Tylenol and i hope you feel better.
