1 Box Duncan Hines Deluxe yellow cake mix
1 Small box vanilla instant pudding
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup Crisco oil
1/4 cup white wine
4 eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 - 1 cup chopped nuts
Mix all ingredients together except the nuts. Mix well. Grease tube or bundt pan and flour (I also dusted with cinnamon and sugar). Put nuts in bottom of pan and pour cake mixture over. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 - 70 minutes.
Glaze:
1 stick salted butter
1 cup of white sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup white wine
Bring first three ingredients to a boil, about 2 to 3 minutes. Take off heat and add wine. Spoon 3/4 mixture over cake while still in the pan (the cake must be cool first!). Let stand for 10 minutes. Invert cake and spoon balance of glaze (I didn't bother with the rest of the glaze)
FTR, even though it's from a box, this is fantastic and people will want to kiss you for making it.
