Random restaurant news...
1.According to MH, Ruby's Diner is celebrating their 27th anniversary today, so you can get a burger and fries for $2.70.
2. They are opening The Counter in CM/Newport! It's going to be right on the border on 17th/Westport and Irvine. Should be open early 2010. I am so glad I won't have to drive to BFE Irvine to get me some yummy burgers anymore!

Not all Ruby's are participating, so make sure you check if you're going tonight.
If any of you in the Costa Mesa area ever used to go to Pasta Connection (Argentine/Italian cuisine) it's reopening just down the street from where it was before today!
Lazy Dog Cafe is opening in Irvine Marketplace in the Spring.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
My parents will flip! Where is it now? Closer to the 405 freeway or down towards the beach more on Harbor?
It's on Harbor between 19th and Wilson. It's in that restuarant space where NOTHING ever lasts. Most recently it was Taco Surf, then Flip Flops, then Picatta's. I'm hoping that this established restaurant will be the thing that sticks in that space.
