Skinny jeans

So I did something I NEVER thought I'd do: I bought skinny jeans. I really hate the look with flats, but I have suddenly decided to jump on the boots-over-jeans look. That look is still in, RIGHT???

Anyway, they look terrible! They kind of bunch up if I'm wearing them for, say, more than 15 minutes. What am I doing wrong? Why do I suck at fashion?

Get some knee-high socks and tuck the jeans into the socks before you put on your boots. That helps keep everything in place.

Google has led me to these nifty things. Neat idea, but I don't know I'd pay $25 for them.

NO! You need the skinny jeans. Regular jeans have too much fabric to shove in a sock and it will look bulky and weird.

I wear capris, if they have a cuff I just un-roll them and they are long enough to fit nicely into my boots and I don't have to worry about the bunching at the bottom.

I got my skinny jeans at Banana Republic and they don't bunch up or come out of my boots at all.  I highly recommend them!

Skinny jeans are a staple in my closet. If they bunch up too much on you, take them to the local tailor and have them fitted to your desired length. I do it to all of my jeans because I'm on the shorter side.
