Album is in, with mistakes

My photographer emailed me today that my album is in but that it was misprinted with a black and white photo on the cover instead of a color version. She said she can send it back but doesn't think that the redo will be in by Christmas. Would you keep the album or request it to go back? I asked her how the picture looked in B&W and am awating a reply.

I'd see what it looks like with the B&W photo. If you like it, or don't completely hate it, I'd see if you could take it as-is with a slight discount. Or just take it as is.

I wanted to AW it out at X-mas. I also get my CD of images when I get my album and was hoping to try to make some gifts if I had time.

Ahh yes. I'd want it by then too. You never know - you could love it more in B&W! If they'll have to make another album anyway, they should let you keep this one as compensation for their error. 

And I will never understand why photogs hold your CD images hostages until the album. Doesn't make sense to me.

I think regardless of what you decide, given the situation you should get the CD right away. It's their mistake - no reason you should wait longer for the CD.

My photographer is going to ship the album to me with the dvd and if I decide I want it with a color photo in the front, she said she will send it back after Christmas so I can wh0re it out. I'm happy!
