How is the big boy bed going? I have to tell you, I say a little prayer everytime I put Owen in his crib that he doesn't try to climb out. I am not ready for that yet! I don't know how you are doing it.
How are you feeling? Have you been buying much pink?
Re: ~~Heather~~
You know, Mindy, as sad and traumatic as it was for Matt and I....Alex LOVES it. Last night he ran to his bed and put himself in it. I think he really likes the freedom of getting out and getting back in all by himself. He seems so much happier. I am shocked.
I'm doing ok. I think the MS has gone for good, thankfully. Having trouble sleeping and joint pain but that is par for the course and i'm trying not to complain about it yet. Yes, we have DEFINITELY been buying a ton of pink...and purple...and anything with a skirt. We already have two christmas dresses and her whole easter outfit, ha! I'm on the hunt to find cute little velcro bows for her hair. The only things I haven't bought a lot of yet are the stuff she'll live in from 0-3- the sleepers and gowns. I have literally a handful from alex that is green or yellow, most people bought blue, and some of those are larger sizes.
I just can't believe how fast it's going. I should have known this time, but I just wasn't paying attention and BOOM, i'm over halfway done. It's insane.
Awww...that must be hard but I am glad Alex likes it so much. What a big boy!
Hehehe, you are so funny w/ the clothes. I'm sure I would do the same thing though :-)
Glad the m/s is finally gone! I hope you don't have all the joint pain issues you had w/ Alex. It really is crazy how fast it goes, isn't it?
it really is crazy. I always say to DH, I never knew how fast time went until we were planning for our wedding or waiting for a child to be born. Insane.
Sadly, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have the same issues, if not worse, with Molly. I'm already having a decent amount of difficulty- DH brings Alex up for all his naps and for the night, and I can no longer pick Alex up from the floor. I have difficulty carrying him at all, actually, but I can still manage it in the mornings. Afternoons just won't happen.
I have already broached the topic of VBAC with my OB, and I am hopeful that I will be able to try. That said, I think it may hinge on whether I go into labor on my own or whether I am induced- inducing is more stressful on the uterus and I think that in all likelihood I will be induced again because I will be practically non functional towards the end. Who knows? It's too early to tell yet, but I would lay good money on Molly coming within a few days of Thanksgiving (either before or after), and either by inducement or scheduled C.
