Please rec your fav restaurant for out of towner
I'm going to be in town for a week with my fiance' and would appriciate any help you can provide with great, romantic restaurants for us to check out. We're staying at the Palmer House on Monroe St, and would like to find some places somewhat nearby. Any help is greatly appriciated. TIA!

I love Tango Sur...its not downtown but its awesome. Argentinian food. Downtown food is not the best IMO. Tango Sur is BYOB and fairly inexpensive.

You can also go to Cafe Iberico for some Spanish Tapas and Sangria. Its yum. Also not right downtown by Palmer house but worth the trip a little further north. (Chicago and LaSalle)

Some places that are walking distance from the palmer house that seem to have good reviews are The Italian Village and Nick's Fishmarket (if you like seafood.) There are also a ton of restaurants in the West Loop that have good reviews that would be a short cab ride: Blackbird, Market, Avec
oh, boo!
In the West Loop, there's also Sepia, Province, LaSalle Power Company and nearby New Line Tavern. I highly recommend Sepia. There's also the Gage, and Capital Grille.
