Back at work :-P

Maternity leave is over, and I'm back to work - which means I'm back to regular nesting! I miss my kiddo, though!

Thank you! Yep...I actually came in for two days last week just to get caught up, and I was a wreck the whole day before. I'm back full-time now and I couldn't hardly sleep last night either!

It is so hard!  I am only leaving mine two days a week now and it still kills me.  My 2 year old sobs, but the baby doesn't really know what is going on yet.  So sad!

Yeah thankfully I don't think she knows what's going on yet either...she was asleep when I left...but it's so hard! I so dread the day that she cries because she misses me as I'm leaving!

Awww- I'm sorry! You and my sister have girls a few weeks apart. She just went back, too, and while it was really tough on her the first few days- she's settled back into the flow really well and everyone seems happy now.

Ugh!  I remember that first day back at work after maternity leave.  It was horrible.  Not only are you thinking about her and missing her, but (at least for me) EVERYONE I saw that day asked me about how DS was doing.... which made me miss him even more!

I hope your days just fly by so you can get back to your beautiful daughter faster!

No kidding...I hadn't even made it to my desk today and I'd already been asked about her three times. Thankfully today is flying by, though I can't wait to get home!

She's home with her grandma right now...daddy's paternity leave starts on Friday. I'm glad to hear it gets better!!

Thank you! Right now she's home with her grandma, and then DH has paternity leave. After that, we're not totally sure what we're doing...we have family who live in the area, but who can't take her full time so that's difficult since most daycares will only take babies full-time...can't justify paying for a full week when she'd only be there a few days! We're looking into Kindercare right now...I've called a lot of places but so far they seem to be the best (though very expensive!)
