Double Jogging or Reg Side by Side Stroller Recs?

So we have a Graco Duoglider and while it suits the job of containg both kids, it's not really that great. My major beef w/it is that either the kids are sitting straight up or they are reclined, no in-between. Also Drake sits in the front cause I know he'd kick, hit etc etc i'm sure if he was in the back and I can't have him doing that to Jacksons seat. But when he falls asleep his head has to rest on the inside of the side of the sun canopy cause he is too tall. That's another thing that sun canopy does come off and he can pull right out of the holes, which can be a PITA to get back in... Granted I know he may not be in it much longer, maybe a year? He is quite the wild child still and he likes to sit in it which is nice...especially if I am alone out with both of them, he will see the front of the disney store for example and run in and I can't have that when I'm alone with both of them....just doesn't work for me...so I think we still need it. So I'm looking for something not too expensive yet comfortable for both of them recline wise....a nice sized storsge basket wouldn't hurt either and 2 cupholders instead of 1....though I know you can buy those add ons too...

Thanks for any ideas ladies!

Re: Double Jogging or Reg Side by Side Stroller Recs?

  • I'm guessing a Sit-N-Stand is out since Drake still falls asleep in the stroller?

    I got this stroller:

    http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Planet-Unity-Sport-Stroller/dp/B000NOY94G

It's a side-by-side, but narrow enough to fit through regular doorways. Very light for a double (lighter than my single Quattro Tour), each seat reclines fully, decent storage (there are cross bars that go through the baskets and reduce the space, but not enough to be a deterent, IMO). There isn't a snack tray for the kids, but there are 2 cupholders for you :) It steers like a dream, too - I've used it for Gabby and my great-niece (5 months younger than Gabby) and it pushes so easily and smooth, even 1-handed. It's not cheap, but it is less expensive that most of the other doubles I was considering.

  • I got an amazing deal on the Peg Perego Aria double 60/40 at Building 19s annual baby sale a little while ago ($199) and I love it!  My mom actually said recently that they still had one for this same deal at the Haverhill location when she was there looking for something else...... it's worth a call to see if they still have it, I say!

The website can tell you all the specifics about it, but my favorite thing is how flat it folds up.  I have my trunk back!!!!
