Pediatrician in/near O'Fallon, MO

I am still kind of new to the STL area and hate picking a dr out of a book.  I need to find a new pediatrician for my little girl, she will be one in September.  I would like to find a great doctor who is very knowledgable.

 Can you recommend a pedi in or near O'Fallon?

we use northwest pediatrics in wentzville; its off the exit with all the shopping.  we are at bryan rd and 70, and its like a 15 min drive.  our pediatrician is jenifer dunn, and we like her a lot.  we also saw a dr hoffmann and liked him as well

I also take my daughter to see Dr. Dunn in Wentzville. She is awesome! My daughter had some serious problems the first year of her life and I thank my lucky stars Dr. Dunn was her pediatrician because she was on top of things from the very beginning. We love her and I plan on taking my kids there as long as we can. Her staff is also amazing.....the nurses and receptionists are always so nice.

I have to disagree with the previous post about Dr. Hoffman. We have had to see him a couple times and I have spoke with him on the phone and we are not fans of his. He is very brusk and rude at times. We try to avoid seeing him at all costs. But everyone else, Dr. Hanson, Dr. Murphy, are all great (Dr. Dunn is the best though).

Do you know off hand if their office has weekend hours?  Our current office has Saturday sick and we have used it a few times.

Yes, they see kids on Saturday mornings/afternoons. I'm not sure if it is only sick visits of if they see check ups on Saturdays as well. During the week, visits start as early as 7:30am and go into the afternoon. Also, when you call the exchange, you always get a nurse that can help you and if additional help is needed, they call the physician on call. Very helpful that you can call at any time and get the nurse right away and not have to wait for someone to call you back.

We take our Daughters to Dr. Phil Reichert in the St. John's building on Hwy K in O'Fallon.  It is right across the street from Pizza Street.  The number is 636-978-7902.  Our oldest Daughter is 3 and he has been wonderful with her and so far with dd #2 who is 4 months.  He is young and easy to talk to.  Good luck with your search!
