Help me choose

DH & I are buying DD her big gift for Christmas, but I would also like to get her something special that is just from me. 

My problem is that I want both of these and can't decide! Which one would you buy?

Between the two, i'd get the clock but that's a pretty expensive clock! Cassie will have fun seing/hearing the bird chirp. I think she's too young to appreciate the tea set. Might end up breaking.

Tea set all the way!  She'll have it for years and maybe even for her own children some day!

As beautiful as I think the clock is, I have to go with the tea set!  Every little girl needs a special tea set!

That tea set would last about, oh, 10 minutes, in my house so I vote for the clock!

I love the tea set. Just think about the great pics you'll get of your husband having tea parties with your daughter! Hehe...

Both are adorable! I want to vote for the clock only because I think a porcelain tea set is a bit too fragile for anyone under 5, but then I want to vote for the tea set because I think $130 is pretty expensive for a clock, although a cuckoo clock is super cute =P So maybe I'm not of much help...I think she'll love either gift though

I vote for the tea set. I wanted one SOOOOOOOOO much when I was little! I don't think I'd have appreciated a clock, even a cuckoo one, at that age.

Today, I personally would love the clock, buy me as a 1 year old, I think would have gone for the tea set.  With that said I do agree with some pp that the tea set could easily be broken.  Could you maybe get the clock & then find a cheaper tea set until DD is a little older?

I vote for the tea set!  Mostly just because I plan on buying one for my child if it's a girl!  I think tea sets are adorable!

If you're worried about breakage you can display a few of the pieces (like the tea pot/cup/saucer) in a shadow box and bring it all out when she's old enough to play.

They're both cute but the tea set is just soo adorable!  I'd do what Teri suggested and put a set in a shadow box and save the other pieces for when she's a little bit older.

I would get the tea set b/c it's more "hands on" so I think she will like it more both are sooooooo cute though!
