Chrissy, how is Owen feeling?
Did his fever break, or did you take him to walk-in? Poor baby!
Re: Chrissy, how is Owen feeling?
He definitely seems to be on the mend! His fever was down to 99.6 earlier this evening.
I did take him to the pedi this morning, she checked him out and there was no apparent reason for the fever (no ear infection or anything) so she thought that 103 was a bit high for a 7 month old and we were off for a blood test.
I don't know who was more traumatized, me or Owen. They had to tie that rubber band around him about 4 dift times before they could get a vein on him, and the howls, it sucked! But the tests came back negatice which means he must just have a virus.
So I am keeping my eye on him and will take him back it there are any new symptoms or if the fever is over 101 til Thursday. He had a big nap after his trip to the lab. So did I!
Thanks so much for asking ladies!!
Oh, I hope he continues to do better!! Poor Owen and you too!! What a hard day. 4 times!!! ouchie
Get better soon Owen
