gift ideas
I need to get a gift for my brother and his girlfriend. I have no idea where to even start. What are some good gift ideas? Anyone get anything creative or give anything creative? I hate getting the same old boring gifts.

DH and I got a gift when we were dating that was a giftcard to a nice restaurant, a giftcard to the movies, and a giftcard to a gelato place for dessert... It was great...
Similarily, one of those popcorn buckets, a couple of DVDs, some candy, a pizza hut giftcard, a blockbuster giftcard, etc...
It all depends on the couple! (And if you want to do them together or seperate, and what your budget is...)
Ok, not sure if they live together or not, but for the sake of this point, I am going to assume they do. Maybe a nice set of wine glasses & a bottle of wine? Or martini glasses and a bottle of vodka?
(Can you tell what is on my mind?)
For my wedding somebody gave me a cake pan with a recipe for their favorite brownies, which I thought was really thoughtful.
A nice warm throw blanket and their favorite movie.

Agreed with pps- it depends on a lot of factors. I think a gift card to a restaurant or movie theater (or both, depending on budget) is a nice gift for couples.
