Girls, I gotta vent....
I put a few things for sale up on ebay for my mother. One buyer bought and paid (it was buy it now) on Friday and on Sunday emailed me, and said "whats going on, I bought days ago and I haven't heard anything!" Em... hello, its been 2 days and right on the listing it says 3 day handling time. So I politely wrote back "I will be shipping your package out tomorrow morning". Today they email me again, "I was thinking about buying something else for my friend but I haven't recieved my package. Do you have tracking numbers?" This isn't a high price item and I sent it (like it says on the listing) through regular first class mail. Please dear crazy person don't buy anything else... your driving me nuts and I'm having a hard time being nice to you! ![]()
Anyone have any ebay or etsy crazy buyers or seller stories?
Re: Ebay Buyer Driving me Crazy!
I've got a crazy Amazon buyer right now. I went to sell a chocolate fountain I used at my wedding, saying (truthfully) that it had only been used twice. They left negative feedback, saying the condition was "awful" and they didn't want to use it at all. First off, I don't understand how that is possible, unless they didn't like the condition of the box it was in? The fountain itself worked perfectly, and hadn't so much as a scratch on it. Second, they did not contact me before leaving negative feedback.
So, seeing the negative feedback (which was the first indication I had that it was a problem), I immediately sent an e-mail offering a full refund, including their cost to ship it back to me. I have received no response at all. Umm, if they hate it so much, why wouldn't they want to return it?

Oh yes!
I listed a bunch of CDs I didn't want anymore on amazon a while ago, and one lady left me negative feedback saying that the CD she bought from me was "covered in scratches" and she "doubted it would even play." She went on to tear me a new one calling me horrible for ripping off innocent people and saying I needed to learn some ethics. Wow, um, dramatic much?
I replied all nicely saying I was so sorry, that I had listened to all the CDs before listing them for sale, they played fine for me (which was true), and offered her the money back (I didn't even ask for the CD back, it was $2 and I didn't want it anyway). Like PP, I never heard from her. My guess is that it was fine.
People are crazy.
People are nuts.
I listed some organza on craigslist that was left over from the wedding and some lady emailed me saying that she really wanted it. I didn't have time to write back that day so a few hours later I got another email from her saying that she asked about the organza several days ago and didn't recieve a response so she wanted to say again that she really wanted it and would like to come to my work to get it that afternoon. I was like....um... ok... I just posted it today, you just wrote about it today, and I don't have it at work with me. I brought it the next day and she flooded my inbox with emails making sure I was still going to meet her after work.
