Ladies I need your help. I need some ideas for Christmas gifts for the ladies at daycare. This year I need to buy for 7 of them. I would like to spend between $20 and $25 on each. Last year I got stuff from Bath and Body Works, and if I don't think of something else, I'll probably be doing that again and I really don't want to. So I'm hoping that you wonderful ladies can help me out with some ideas. TIA!
Re: Gift Ideas
Yankee Candle reed diffusers...they are all the rage! lol!
Seriously...that is alot to spend for each daycare provider, especially when you are talking 7 of them...eeks! Not to mention, looking at it from the providers perspective: they probably get gifts like that from everyone in their class. You can only use so many candles, lotions ect...
How bout a gift cert for mani a pedicure from the closest salon by the daycare. Who doesn't love that?!?
I got these gift packs from Sephora for $5 for our daycare ladies...they came yesterday and are really nice!
Umm I want to be your daycare provider!! Dang lady!! ?LOL!
What about a nice ornament for each of them? ?Pier One, Pottery Barn, heck even Target have nice ones for not more than $10 I would imagine! ??
I'll be dropping the kids off between 7 and 7:30 and picking them up around 6. Can we start next Monday?
Coming from a teacher, and previous pre-school teacher, here's my opinion!
$25 is alot, especially since you have all 7. Why not give more to the lead teacher, and a little less to the assistants?? While some may think that the workers will get a gift from all the kids, that is not true. So, if you love your day care provider, then $20ish is nice, possibly less for the assistants!
Ideas-
-I liked the gift card for the mani/pedi
-Movie theater gift card
-Restaurant Gift Card
-Target/walmart (great, because they probably buy stuff for the kids!)
Any sort of gift basket- food, fruit, candy, etc...
a nice gift i got from my students was a glass jar filled with my favorite candy (peppermint patties!) it wasn't expensive, but it was thoughtful and nice! Stay away from figurines, candles, etc...they get so many of them!
One student had a picture of the child and I framed...that was nice!
Thanks for the ideas ladies! There are some good ones. Keep them coming!
Sure why not! ?What's two more right? ?LOL!! ?

Jen that is why I have so many to buy for. Rylie is transitioning to the 2 year old room, and she is also in there in the morning and in the evenings when they combine the kids. So I am getting stuff for Bryce's 2 teachers, Rylie's 2 teachers and the 2 teachers in the 2 year old room. Oh, and the center director. Crazy, I know!
burts bees has a grab bag for $25, i just got mine and they're really cute. http://www.burtsbees.com/natural-products/gifts-kits/premium-grab-bag.html
Your so nice buying for the center director. Ours is not my fav. and she doesn't seem to do much for the kids unfortunately. : ( I know a lot of them do though! Her teachers are awesome though and I love them.
I also want to get something for the Moms that help me a lot in class....any ideas?
