Hi guys!

 

My husband and I moved here about a year and a half ago.  We've made a few friends, but we don't have many couple friends.  We would love to though!  We don't know a whole lot about Kansas City, we just bought our first house and we have a dog.   Any advice on things to do?

Welcome! What part of the city are you in? We also have a dog and love to take him on walks- there are so many great park areas in KC. Most of our favorite things to do are outside, so not helpful until Spring! This winter you could visit the Plaza lights, drive through the light display at Longview Lake, hit up Crown Center. In the spring/summer we like to go to Smithville Lake and Royals games. There are lots of places to do wine tastings which can be fun- Wines by Jennifer in Parkville came to mind first. Hope that gets you started!

Welcome! DH and I are in JoCo. I would check out the Pitch for things to do. There's so much to do around KC, you just have to look for it sometimes

We are moving back to KC in a few weeks, and we need couple friends too!

If you like dog parks, Shawnee Mission Dog Park is awesome. There is always a lot of cool people there. Also, my FIL and MIL go out and do a lot - there is always a band at a bar, or dinner thing to go to!
