I visited your blog to look at some other recipes and your tree is very pretty-as are the other decorations!
Now, to get on to the recipes! Glad to see you are still doing them! We did a lovely meal with Italian Hot Sausage-using venison-our first try... and it was really good-not sure what DH used-the typical peppers, onions, diced tomatoes, little sauce, and the sausage...
I have too much meat in the freezer and will be searching for more recipes for it...
...ever hear of any good ham recipes for the holidays? (I'm really new at doing the cooking thing)
Re: **Flip Flops**
I'm very picky about ham actually, and the only kind I'll eat is Virginia ham sliced super thin. My parents order one from Edwards (you can Google their website) every year, and they get a precooked one. Just slice and put on biscuits!
If I was going to cook ham, I'd probably look for Southern Living recipes on myrecipes.com. Sorry I'm not much help!
This is the website if you're interested: http://virginiatraditions.com/
Also makes a great gift. My uncle used to send one to my mom every year and we'd eat it Christmas Day.
Thanks! I remember my sis got a lovely spiral one that DH LOVED! I've got some time, but I'm def a planner... or I'll screw it up!
Your enchiladas look great!
