Bringing hot food to potluck lunch
How do you ladies keep food warm once you bring it to work? I'm bringing stuffing for a group lunch, but the lunch is at 12 and I get to work at 8. The only thing I can think of is to make it in two 8x8 pans and just re-heat them in the microwave. Is there another option I'm just not thinking of?
TIA.
Re: Bringing hot food to potluck lunch
For that amount of time, I would fridge and reheat.
I have a Pyrex glass casserole dish, which came with a carrying case and heating packets. If I bring something from my house to someone else's, it keeps it hot. I'm not sure how long it would last. I'm also not sure if they make it any more. It was given to me by my friend's grandma. It's a big glass dish, lid, heating packets and a canvas case with handles.

We used an electric chafing dish last week.
The microwave would be fine too. I would suggest bringing some extra broth, so you don't dry it out however you reheat.
