Help with Google calendar sync with iPhone?

Hi ladies!  I set up so that I can sync my Google calendar with my iPhone.  Except now, when I browse on my phone there's two calendars...one is the calendar program that was on my phone, and one that's the Google one I synced to my Phone.  I can view one or the other or both together.  I want to just get rid of the one that was already on my phone, though, so that the only calendar I have is the one that syncs to Google.  Is there a way to do this?  I was able to make the Google one my default, but I still sometimes find I'm accidentally in the other one.

Re: Help with Google calendar sync with iPhone?

  • Thanks...I think I fixed it.  I'll post the solution in case it helps someone else.  When I first got the option to sync it asked me if I wanted to keep the info in my old calendar...I thought it meant it would transfer the info over, but it kept it as a separate calendar.  I tried to get back to that stage, but couldn't.  I deleted the account and re-added it and had no google calendar for awhile, but after a few more attempts I was able to go back to start, tell it to delete the info on my phone, and now the only calendar on my phone goes to the Google one.  Hooray!

  • That was one thing that I didn't realize when syncing with my blackberry.... google calendar does not add any of the existing info in your calendar, it only adds new entries.
