Anyone have a Flip video camera?

I'm thinking of getting one. Just curious which one to get? The Ultra, UltraHD, Mino, MinoHD??

Any recs or feedback? TIA

We have one and love it.  It's probably close to two years old now and not sure which one it is but it's definitely not an HD model as I think those are newer.  It's the perfect camera to have with the kid(s) as it's small I can just keep it in my bag, etc.

my boss has the ultra and she loves that thing.  i hear i'm getting one for christmas, so i'm excited because the bean's antics of late require it.

if it were up to me, though, i'd go with the mino HD.  i think it's the top of the line, and i generally gravitate towards the best.

I just went out and bought the Ultra HD. Its online for $159 but in store its $199 (Best Buy does a price match). The MinoHD was $229. Not sure what the differences are but the UltraHD seemed sufficient for me.

from what i recall from my research, you get more memory with the mino, and it's more compact than the ultra.  it also has a rechargable battery rather than AAs like the ultra.

I did see that the Mino is more compact. The Ultra HD came with a "rechargeable battery pack" that is two AAs wrapped together. The Ultra HD has 8 gb and the Ultra has 4 gb, I do know that.

We just bought the UltraHD with 8GB this past Sunday from Best Buy. We were going to get one of these great deal packages that WalMart has online only. By the time we decided to purchase from WalMart it was sold out. So we went to Best Buy since we had a gift card and they were willing to price match what WalMart was selling it online so they dropped the price. Costco has a deal going on as well, just not as good as WalMart IMO. The differences between the minoHD and the ultraHD is the price and size, the quality is the same. While I've only used it once, my husband has used it more frequently.  It's really his toy and not mine.  I take care of photos.  He takes care of videos.

Ness ... so you got the camera plus 2 accessories for $179?  I'm going to print the ad and take it to Best Buy.  I just decided earlier today this is what hubs is getting for Christmas.

Sorry Kali, Best buy wasn't able to give us the package that Walmart has due to it being some starter package. Best buy doesn't have this exact same package WalMart has the UltraHD 8GB for $149.99, so Best Buy was able to price match that. We're going to get our accessories from Walmart. We would've went with Walmart for the package deal online, but they couldn't confirm when it would come back in stock. The UltraHD & minoHD has the same memory, but just different sizes physically.
