80s theme party

I decided I want to have an 80s themed party after the new year.  I recently bought the 80s Scene It game so that's what inspired the idea.  I figured we can play that during the party.  Anyone have an 80s party or can offer any ideas?  Decorations, food, anything else I should have/do?  TIA....

Some rockin' 80's music, or some kickass movies like Breakfast Club, Ghostbusters, Beverly Hills Cop

For favors you could do mini rubix cubes, jelly bracelets, hair spray (for the big hair, of course)

For food you could serve anything, but you could do some 80s themed cocktails, like do a pomegranate mimosa and call it Pretty In Pink,  etc etc

Love the idea of a Pretty in Pink signature drink!

How about buying some 80s candy and having it in bowls through out the party? 

Stick to neon colored cups, napkins, etc.

Another favor idea would be burning "80s Hits" on CDs.

Sounds like fun!

I just threw my husband an 80's party in October! I would suggest tinyprints.com for invites. They have some really fun 80's style invites and favor tags! I also ordered a bunch on 80's candy and made favor bags for the guests that included the different kinds of candy and a favor tag that matched the invites. Hope that helps!
