Please help me pick...

I don't drink so I don't know what most people would prefer?

This is a gift for my coworker.

Re: Please help me pick...

  • If you don't know if they drink wine, I think that most would agree that white is typically a safer bet. However, I have no idea what Torrontes is (maybe because I don't know a lot about S. American wine), so I voted for Syrah, which is a really drinkable red.

Cab is delicious, but it is a risk. You have to be a red wine fan to appreciate it since it is typically a very robust wine...

  • I voted Syrah, but I HEART Pinot Noir.

I know that she drinks wine.  She also buys everything organic.  These are the 3 most common ones that I found that are organic on the web.

I'd go with the Syrah then.

  • I voted Cab because of the three it is my personal favorite but if you could find a Riesling or Chardonay - you'd be golden.  I miss my riesling Crying

And by soon, you mean next week when I'm flying into Palm Beach to surprise my undeserving monster-in-law?

    Boo.

  • I voted for Cab because Syrahs can be so sweet and fruity.  I don't like a lot of them.  I'm with Angel on the pinot noir, but if you could find a nice Beaujolais, that would be fantastic!  It's getting to be a little late in the year from them, but Louis Jadot is like the whooore of Beaujolaises (sp?) and you could probably find it somewhere.  Not sure if it's organic, though.
