If you don't know if they drink wine, I think that most would agree that white is typically a safer bet. However, I have no idea what Torrontes is (maybe because I don't know a lot about S. American wine), so I voted for Syrah, which is a really drinkable red.
Cab is delicious, but it is a risk. You have to be a red wine fan to appreciate it since it is typically a very robust wine...

I know that she drinks wine. She also buys everything organic. These are the 3 most common ones that I found that are organic on the web.
