I spent nearly 2 hours at a co-workers baby shower. We were supposed to bring dessert. Good thing I threw a chocolate eclair pie together at 9pm last night since it was the only dessert. People raved about it. Yay!
I am trying to get some work done today. We have new docs here this week which make my life hell.
I am leaving here 30 minutes early (ie. now) to pick up the kids since Carter had such a rough night last night and I am sure he is exhausted. I know I am.
Oh, and I made a huge purchase on CVS.com. everything is 20% off plus another $15 off if you use a mastercard. I stocked up and saved $33. Yea.

we had a holiday party today.
they had it upstairs so its standing only so they didn't need to rent tables etc.
and they only had hor dourves.
i compensated by eating most of a pound cake.
i kind of hate my job today.
I am around but in a funk. A woman over on botb had a baby at the same hospitla ella was born at. I had been emailing with her about navigating the whole nicu experience. The baby died last night and I am feeling sad and not really all that talkative today.
On a happy note our christmas cards came today and I love them. I can't wait to send them out. I am wayyyyyy to excited about them. It is a little rediculous.
Oh and I bought S her christmas present yesterday! I am so excited about it. It is the third ring from the bottom but with rubies instead of saphires. I love it. The three diamonds are for Sue Ella and me and the ruby is Ella's birth stone. I hope she loves it! Oh and I got a great deal on it too!
