Yay! Got my Wedding Video back last night!
Aww... Got my wedding video back last night. I absolutely loved it. Few things I want to change here and there but they really did an outstanding professional job. Brought back the whole day all over again.
Now if I could just tackle the album...

I went with 404 films. They did such an amazing job. I was so impressed with the quality and the design of the video. It looks like a movie DVD with all the same features.
I'm glad I did it too. Like I said it brought me back. Those glances between me and my hubby are priceless.
I also did a "love story" and it came out really cute and will be fun for our kids to watch one day.
That sounds awesome! I really wish that was something we had. I hate myself on film but I decided to hire a videographer anyway for the ceremony because they say it goes so fast and you don't remember any of it. So I did and they came and set up and then the church sent them away. I had no idea about it until the HM when I turned to B and asked "do you remember the videographer being there?" He said no and neither did I but I figured we were just clueless and didn't notice. I called the church lady when I got back and admitted she sent him away. All she said was "Oops." No apology or anything! I was so upset.
That's great! I'm glad you loved it.
And yeah, I STILL don't have a wedding album and I've been married for 15 months now! (I guess that's what happens when you get pregnant on your wedding night.
)
We had a video and honestly my memory is much more beautiful than the video. We had the worse luck with our vendors. Our video is pretty tacky, but I must admit it's still a nice memory.
Layne-that SUCKS! I can't believe they did that and not say anything.
The videographer was a professional but he was also a member of the church. So we actually booked him through the church and got a deal. Anyway, when I talked to the church coordinator, she told me that I didn't request or pay for one. Of course I said "yes I did!!" After that all she said was that she would look through my paperwork.
A few weeks later I got a check in the mail. No apology, no nothing! I was very upset but even by the time I'd realized it myself there was nothing that could be done to undo it. So I old myself it would do no good to get upset. I mostly just wanted some sort of heartfelt apology for sending the guy away. Or even the lady to admit she was wrong. Whatever. It wouldn't have changed anything anyway.
