Jake the (next) Bachelor
so I forgot to post about this until now, but I was just reminded by a commercial for the upcoming season of the Bachelor.
so last year when the Bachelorette was airing, my SIL said she didn't think Jillian was going to pick Jake b/c after visiting us, she ran into him at Taco Bell on her way to the DFW airport - she said that he was with another girl and while they weren't obviously together, it made her doubt that he would make it to the end.
so fast fwd to this Thanksgiving... my SIL and I were talking about the upcoming season and how we both didn't think ABC would pick him as the next Bachelor b/c he's "too nice" ....then she jokingly says to me, "maybe I'll run into Jake again at the airport."
well, not too long after dropping her off at the airport, I get a call from her. we hit some traffic on the way to the airport and got there later than expected, and I was worried she was calling me to tell me she was stuck in a long line at security and wasn't going to make her flight. but to my surprise she says, "I just had to call you and tell you I just saw him!" At first I didn't get what she was saying, then I realized that she was talking about Jake!! 
I asked her if she was serious and she said "Yep, he was in his pilot's uniform and everything. I think he was going to the gate next to me."
so what are the odds of someone seeing Jake on two separate occasions while visiting Dallas?!

Holy cow, that is crazy!!
Even though I would have picked someone else for his "position" of the next Bachelor, I still can't wait!
ask her if he is as dreamy as he looks on TV!! those commercials - by the pool - and that cute squinty nonchalant "I'm hot but I'm not even acknowledging it, it just flows out of my pores" thing - hubba hubba. I'm really wondering that with his religious background, if he will be having those overnight dates!
He did come off as a little desperate, like liking Jillian a little too much for the amount he knew her though. A little bit of a red flag. Can't wait for the season to start!
