Am I the only one who giggles like a school girl EVERY time I get the mail and see any mail addressed to Mr. & Mrs. new last name?  I swear, I hope it never gets old.  I just can't handle how happy it makes me to see this!

Me too. It is still weird for me to see mail addressed to just me using my new last name. Tonight is my office Christmas Party and I know I will have to introduce him to a few people so I'm sure I'll be laughing to myself all evening.

I got the giggles because Hubby stumbled over calling me his wife last night when he was on the phone talking to a guy he does some contract drafting services for.  We were just about to leave to go to dinner and he was telling him that and started to call me his fiance but then caught himself.  It came out fiahhh-wife.

I totally do that.  We've gotten a few Christmas cards addressed to the two of us.  The one from his parents was the best, though: they used a wedding picture of the whole NewLastName Family and listed me as one of them

I love it... I still haven't had my name changed at work on my e-mail or on the phone list... I know I will be SO GIDDY when that finally happens.  I especially get silly when I overhear DH say something about his wife or introduce me as his wife... that's the best.

Same here and it's still weird when people ask me my name. I just smile!!!

Maybe it's because I hyphenated, but it's not that weird for me. It's just a little bit longer now, but I LOVE how it sounds and my hubby likes hearing it on my work voicemail.

I still get giddy and giggly.  I love getting our Christmas cards addressed to Mr. & Mrs .. or The ___ Family.  My aunt and uncle sent one, and next to Mr. and Mrs. Newlastname, my aunt drew a big smiley face...it was so cute!

No!  We got a Christmas card in the mail yesterday from DH's brother and sister-in-law.  I knew the card would have cute pictures of our nephews, so I ripped it open without really looking.  When I went to throw the envelope away later, I stared at our names on the outside of the envelope for like 3 full minutes before tossing it.

I had to give a presentation this morning and it was the first time I introduced myself to a larg group.  When I said my name including new last name, I smiled from ear to ear.  I was not that excited about the presentation, just my name....

I guess I am the only one who doesn't.  I never made marriage a big deal either.  Like wasn't planning since a kid things like that.
